Winter Collection- Scarfs

 Hello Readers

Today I will be talking about scarfs. This simple but classic item of accessory is a little touch of gold to any outfit. It can bring a whole outfit together when accessorized right. The best benefit with owning a scarf is that they are very versatile, not only do they look good but they create much needed body warmth during winter.

Here are some tips when accessorizing with scarfs.

        • Choose a colour scarf that compliments the colours you are wearing- Don't go with the same colour scarf as your top.
        • If you are wearing a plain top, go with a patterned scarf
        • If you are wearing a patterned top, pick one of the various colour tones working within that top and wear a plain scarf that compliments with that colour.
        • Do not wear short necklaces when wearing scarfs- This prevents the scarf catching and fraying on your necklace, also your necklace will be covered and wont be seen under the scarf.
        • Tie your scarf around your neck that will best compliment the top or jacket you are wearing- For example, if you are wearing a cow neck top then swing your scarf over your neck once and let one bit hang to the side and back. For a V-neck, scoop or sweetheart neck lines, doing a cowneck loop or the slide through knot would suit best for these tops.
        • High neck scoops or any high neck tops are best with a bow neck tie up or just swung over the neck and let the scarf hang down the body.
        • Also large square cut scarfs make great shawls when you go, just fold the scarf in half so its a triangle shape and place around your back and over your arms.
        • Little silk or satin scarfs make the best head scarfs. Roll the scarf up then place on your head and tie a bow or wrap around into a knot and tie a lackey band around it. These look so cute and are perfect for spring time wear especially floral coloured scarfs.

Comment below and let me know what your favourite scarf is and how you like to wear it :)
Have a wonderful week and I'll post again soon.
